Sencha Green Tea Salad Dressing (Easy)

This salad dressing only takes a few minutes to make and it tastes delicious too. You can use it on cold salads, coleslaws and steamed vegetables. So versatile.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar or substitute for lemon
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp sencha green tea leaves
  • 30 ml boiling water
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method

  1. Boil water, add to cup, add sencha tea leaves, steep 1 minute
  2. Strain leaves and allow to cool.
  3. Add tea to jar or blender with remaining ingredients.
  4. Whisk in the apple cider vinegar, honey, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  5. Serve over your favourite salad and enjoy!

Optional

  • Substitute Sesame Oil for Olive Oil
  • Pour on dressing and sprinkle sesame seeds over salad
