Sencha Green Tea Salad Dressing (Easy)
This salad dressing only takes a few minutes to make and it tastes delicious too. You can use it on cold salads, coleslaws and steamed vegetables. So versatile.
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar or substitute for lemon
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp sencha green tea leaves
- 30 ml boiling water
- Salt and pepper to taste
Method
- Boil water, add to cup, add sencha tea leaves, steep 1 minute
- Strain leaves and allow to cool.
- Add tea to jar or blender with remaining ingredients.
- Whisk in the apple cider vinegar, honey, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Serve over your favourite salad and enjoy!
Optional
- Substitute Sesame Oil for Olive Oil
- Pour on dressing and sprinkle sesame seeds over salad
