French Earl Grey Martini Recipe
This drink won the hearts of our taste testers in March 2023. We hope you try it at home. So easy to make and the best part of all, you can prepare in advance for your guests (or yourself) with a couple of ingredients.
Ingredients
- 1 Teaspoon of Chic French Earl Grey Tea to 30ml Gin.
- Use the highest quality tonic water.
- Use unflavoured gin for the best results.
Method
- Take a small jar, add 1 teaspoon of Chic French Earl Grey Tea for each 30ml shot of gin.
- Add quantity of gin to above note.
- Put lid on and shake vigorously.
- Steep in fridge overnight (if possible), or at least 1 hour.
- Add ice to glass
- Add strainer on top of glass
- Pour over tea and strainer will catch tea
- Pour over tonic water through the tea leaves to get any residual gin
- Stir and enjoy!
This recipe is surprisingly easy but we believe it's the best tasting Gin and Botanicals.
Optional: White foam top finish
1 egg white
Add one egg white to the shaker and shake for 10-15 seconds until the egg white is frothy. Carefully pour the cocktail mixture from the first shaker (gin mix) into the second shaker with the egg white.
Give a gentle stir and then pour the mixture into a chilled martini glass.
Using a spoon, carefully scoop the frothy egg white foam onto the top of the cocktail.
Garnish with a lemon twist or spring of lavender. Serve immediately.
